Transitional And Antique With Classic Architecture
Not long after completing a full design of this New York attorney’s co-op apartment in the West Village in NYC a new career opportunity resulted in her relocation to Atlanta, Georgia. As a design firm we were extremely pleased to be asked to design and manage a new project on a larger scale being told she could not imagine working with anyone else. A few of the original midcentury modern furnishings and the client’s much-loved color scheme were effectively transferred to the new location but our interior design efforts were focused on introducing transitional and antique furnishings compatible with the classic architecture of the townhouse while maintaining an overall eclectic style, reflecting another stage in the client’s evolving design appreciation. The city of Atlanta offered a wealth of shopping options for architectural artifacts, lighting and accessories which added a heightened level of character to the overall design.
